1 (12 oz) Package of Lasagna
2 (24 oz) container of cottage cheese
2 - 3 cups of Colby - monetary Jack cheese (I get the already shredded cheese)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (AKA stinky socks cheese)
2 - 3 eggs slightly beaten
1 - 2 tbl Italian seasoning
1 - 2 tbl garlic powder
2 (26 oz) jars of spaghetti sauce
1/2 - 1 cup water
2 pounds Regular flavor sausage (or you can do half sausage & half hamburger or all hamburger)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cook noodles (with a little olive oil) when they are cooked try not to break them (drain and add cold water add a little more olive oil helps to keep them from sticking)
In medium bowl, combine cottage cheese mixture of cheese, Parmesan cheese eggs and Italian seasoning and garlic powder, Mix well
In you frying pan add the spaghetti sauce and water to the already cooked meat, mix well and heat through.
In a 9" x 13" pan spread some of the sauce on the bottom to keep noodles from sticking. Start the layering with the noodles, and then then meat mixture, then the cheese mixture, and keep repeating until all is used up, I usually put 4 noodles across
Cook for about 45 min then let stand for about 10 to 15 min then serve
