Hey everyone we've made it to "174" recipies lets keep it going so that when we put books together they are filled with anything anyone could possibly want to eat!!!

My Mom's simple and awesome Baked Beans

Place into a 9x13 glass baking dish or a glass casserole dish two large cans or 5 small cans of pork and beans. ADD:
2-3 slices uncooked bacon, chopped fairly fine
1 teas onion powder or 1/2 cup finely chopped onion.
1 small chopped green pepper ( optional for avid pepper haters)
1 C. Brown sugar
1 small bottle of ketchup, or about 1/2 of a large bottle of ketchup
2 tblsp. worchestshire sauce.

Mix all this in the baking dish or casserole and bake at 350* for 1 1/2 hours.

This receipe can be doubled. Be sure to use a VERY deep pan to prevent spillage. but it is simpler to prepare TWO pans for a large crowd.

Entertaining tip! For an easy family picnic bake up two pans of beans ( they'll go fast, trust me!), add 2 bag of chips or whip up a potato salad, fry burgers, put out a veg plate and you have a party!
